Sirisha who is included in this mail is my daughter, her overall experience is gentle parent does not work with all children, which I agree with her. Perhaps there is no one solution that fits all, as a parent we have pick the tool out of all available tools what fits at that situation. Big Feelings My pre-schooler is learning to express his big feelings with words rather than shutting down. The owl is such a great tool for him to be able to use a visual at home or at school that will hopefully bridge to him being able to use words. His teachers love it!

Indigo Owl Saves the Day We love our owl and have had many discussions about trusting our intuition because of her. My son finds that for his big feelings - holding Indigo owl calms his heart and helps him find the words that are sometimes hard. The size is helpful for him to really snuggle into if he needs the extra comfort and for a while he really needed that support while processing some issues at school. We love our snuggle buddies!

One of my most used tools for regulation I work in inclusive recreation in a community based setting (camps, rec programs, pd day programs, sensory spaces etc) as an Inclusion Specialist and I must say that these little buddies are so useful to help with emotional regulation. Using the colors to communicate can be so helpful when someone is in a freeze state. I often use the buddies to work through conversations or conflicts that help kiddos then bring that into the shared world. They are also amazing for starting conversations with peers about what the different colors mean and what they need when certain colors are out. It opens and normalizes having different emotions and once we are able to better figure out our feeling we can choose the best tools to help us move forward. These are a must in my opinion. I had bought a whole set and send them home with kids that really resonate with them. I will need to buy another set soon!

Great addition to my class My school kids (ages 2-6) absolutely love this plush. It is a great tool for them to use when they are having big emotions. It is extremely soft so that they can cuddle it close and squeeze it tightly. They love the different hand-size plush attachments that they can squeeze which correspond to the colors on our emotions chart. (I use the monthly emotions calendar as a daily emotions check-in for them. I have each name in one of the daily slots. They check in when they arrive and can change how they are feeling at any point during the day.)

soft, huggable, dynamic and profond but missing some emotions I like the size of the snugglebuddy, but I don't know if my daughter likes it because she prefers smaller things for her arms (or really big ones) (she's 33 months). It is very soft and she likes to touch it. The emotions buddies often fall from the pouch, this is a bummer. I like the emotions buddies that are all IN the heart, and I would have preferred more than 4 (happy, calm, mad, sad, scared, ashamed and shy), because often, my daughter doesn't recognize herself in on of the 4 emotions. She likes to read the book in english several times per day even though that's not her language, because it's rhyming and the words make rhythmic sentences. My daughter likes to search for the animals following a list of the animals-totems that was with the book. I like that love is found in every part of what makes us who we are (internal motivation leads to confidence). I would have preferred that the companion sheet of emotions calendar had more than just 4 moods, again, because the emotions that I named appear often in the day, and feel different than the 4 basic ones for her. Other than that, I really look forward to your french version of the book AND the Time-in tools. Please please please do it very soon!

All of the students that have entered my office immediately grab one of the snugglebuddies and hold on to it while working on coping strategies. Regardless of age, every single student has gravitated towards them. The SnuggleBuddies are large enough that they can fill kid arms when snuggling and so soft! We identify the feelings attached to the SnuggleBuddie and it’s a great way to open the conversation about low energy vs high energy feelings (as seen on time in toolkit feelings chart). Two thumbs up!

So Cute and Helpful! This hummingbird is super cute and my daughter (3) has absolutely fallen in love with it. She takes it nearly everywhere she goes. It's super soft and great quality. My daughter sometimes has a hard time expressing her emotions. The little mood emojis attached to the hummingbird are super helpful in helping her express herself when she is overwhelmed.

Great tool for helping emotional regulation Super soft, huggable, and a great tool! I have been using this toolkit for about a month now with my daughter (5 years) following some behavioral outbursts at school and home. She has used the owl as a comfort object when upset and to identify what she's feeling in a tangible way, and than we correlate it to the posters. We love it!
