“We opened our Time-In ToolKit and my boys (6 and 8) took out the Feeling Cards and started playing the Memory game, and then Feelings Go Fish --- for the next 30 minutes I watched on as they acted out and talked about the feelings on the cards. It brought tears to my eyes to see them talking about feelings. This was def not something we were encouraged to talk about in my home growing up. Thank you!”

Happy With It
Bought for my 4 year old and we used it once so far, right after opening and during a calm moment. She immediately enjoyed finding her emotions on the cards and I think this will be a useful tool in the future for all kinds of situations. Nice set.

Great visual representation
We’ve used this twice already to work through big feelings with our 5yo. The process of identifying and naming the feeling, having her pick and do a coping mechanism, then assessing how she feels afterwards is really clicking!

Really great
Very helpful in identifying feelings and coming up with useful strategies to manage these feelings. Only feedback is to make cards more durable. I will likely laminate because when used during times of frustration, there is a tendency to wrinkle, fold, or destroy cards.

Works well with my tween
I thought my tween would think these too “baby-ish”; but, the second these were out of the box she was using it. It’s helped us through some big feels already.

Thank you Generation Mindful!
I LOVE Generation Mindful! Their tools are so fun and effective. My grandchildren love the Snuggle Buddies and the cards. I ordered the Time-In Activity mat for all of my grandchildren. They're were excited to have their own big emotion tool to use.

We have really enjoyed these cards! My kids liked playing memory matching with them. This has offered a lot more vocabulary to our emotional conversations!

The package was slightly bent in my mailbox, but that is a carrier issue. Otherwise, we love it so far. My kids like having an arsenal of calming tools as well as words to put to what they are feeling.

Love the strategy cards
I love the strategy cards that come with this set. I also love the emotions cards, including the different colors representing different base emotions. Most of the kids I work with are developmental 4-6 years old, so most of the emotions are a little complex, so I just pull out a few simple ones to start. The set arrived with mar completely crushed, but when I contacted the company, they quickly sent a new one which also arrived a little crumpled but will work fine. I do wish it came with a couple of strategy cards with empty circles that were laminated, so the kids could draw a new idea on it and then I could wipe it off, but that’s just an idea for the future.

Excellent tool
This has been an excellent tool for helping my 3 year old learn/recognize feelings and equip her with a way to process those feelings. There are several ways we’ve used it: a feelings matching game, identifying related feelings, practicing how we might use the mat when she has strong emotions, & then actually using it “in the moment “ for big feelings. I was pleasantly surprised at how much bang for our buck we’ve gotten!
